AstheworldcametogethertocelebrateWorldEnvironmentDay,Keralapolicetookthecelebrationstothenextlevel.Asacommitmenttoenvironmentalconservation,theKochiCitypolicelaunchedcustom-builtRevoltRV400electricmotorcyclesonMonday.

ThemotorcycleswereunveiledandflaggedoffbyK.SethuRaman,DistrictPoliceChiefErnakulam.HeexplainedthattheelectricbikeswerebeinglaunchedonWorldEnvironmentDayaspartofthegreeninitiativesoftheforce.

HealsoaddedthattheexistingfleetofmotorcyclesusedbythepoliceinKochiwasbecomingoutdated,soaddingnewvehiclestotheirfleetwasnecessary,especiallyconsideringtheimportanceofmotorcyclesforpolicinginalargecitylikeKochi.

Accordingtothereports,theaimistoadd50electricmotorcyclestothecurrentexistingfleet.Aproposalfor30moresuchmotorcycleshasbeengiventhegreenlightwiththehelpofCochinSmartMissionLimited.Thesebikeswillbemainlyusedforpatrollingpurposes.

TheRevoltelectricmotorcyclesstandoutwiththeircutting-edgetechnology,durablebatterysystems,andemission-freeperformance,makingthemanexcellentoptionforsustainabletransportationsolutions.Withadvancedtechnologyintegratedintotheirdesign,theyofferaseamlessridingexperiencewhileprioritizingenvironmentalconservation.

TheRevoltRV400housesa3kWhbatterypack,poweringanelectricmotorthatproducesaround6.7bhpofpowerand54Nmoftorque.Thebikehasthreeridingmodes:Eco,Sport,andPower.Revoltclaimsarangeof150kmonasinglecharge,whichcanbechargedin4.5hours.

Theelectricmotorcyclehasseveralfeatures,includinganLEDheadlamp,adigitalinstrumentconsole,keylessignition,andareplaceablebatterypack.Additionally,theRV400hasasoundsystemthatproducesmotorcyclesoundsthroughaspeakerpositionednearthefootpegs.
